Restricted owner testing uses the shared writing foundations. These fictional concepts are not product screenshots. Named journals, trip/gallery connections, wider access and translated publication remain in development.

Personal entries, easy to find again.

Let the library help you return to a moment: date, title, a short summary and the tags that make sense to you.

Fictional entries illustrate a personal Journal. Saved entries keep the same identity when opened from the shared writing foundations.

For the everyday, and the days that stay with you.

Your own personal Journal.

Keep everyday moments, observations, reflections and memories together. A Journal entry can be a few words, a photograph or a longer account of the day.

A familiar place to return to.

Scan dates, titles, summaries, tags and states in a compact entry list. Open an entry, then return to the same Journal context.

Write without breaking your flow.

Use the shared rich editor, regional browser spellchecking, private draft autosave, Save, Save As and recovery foundations. Hosted owner testing continues.

Keep photographs with the memory.

Add inline images, a cover and a gallery. Keep captions and image descriptions, resize proportionally and review image edits with the previous stored version retained.

Keep the original beside a translation.

The owner-only review pilot offers a selected target language, editable comparison, formatted preview and separately saved linked reviews/history. Wider access and translated publication remain in development.

Private until you choose otherwise.

New writing starts as a private draft. Preview and explicitly review publication; later changes do not silently replace the approved reader version.

Travel can be part of the story.

Optional links to the separate SoraTrip planner and Photography galleries are planned. The itinerary stays in SoraTrip; the personal account stays in Journal.

Organise without losing the entry.

Keep the same owned records and images when moving between Journal and the shared writing foundations. Multiple named journals and subtopics remain planned.

Share deliberately and return easily.

Choose a destination for a reviewed publication and finish sharing with the provider or device. Sharing settings should return you to the entry you were working on.

Write the moment in your own words.

A familiar editor gives personal writing, photographs and small details a place together, with a clear route back to your entries.

A slower afternoon

A walk without a timetable.

Font Size B I Heading Link List Image Table

Today I took the long way home. I put my phone away and noticed the light moving across the path. There was nothing to finish for a while, and that felt enough.

Afternoon along the path · example caption

I want to remember this ordinary moment, without making it into anything more.

Keep your voice beside another language.

Choose a target language, review an editable result alongside the original, and save a linked language review without replacing your entry. The example below is human-authored to illustrate the design, not evidence of machine translation quality.

Plan in SoraTrip. Remember it in Journal.

SoraTrip is a separate planned travel app. Optional connections will bring the plan, personal entry and photographs within reach while keeping each original record in its own place.

Plan the travel in SoraTrip and record the memories in Journal. Connections should link the original entries and galleries, rather than make separate copies.

Booking references, private travel documents and precise future locations stay outside public stories unless deliberately reviewed.

Keep it personal. Share only when you choose.

A Journal can be a private record. Public entry publication is a separate, explicit review using the shared writing workflow.

Publication and sharing review

Choose what readers see.

  1. Review the saved words, images, captions and image descriptions.
  2. Choose the entry’s visibility and explicitly confirm publication.
  3. Open the approved reader version, then choose a sharing destination if wanted.

Provider and device sharing need you to finish the action. There is a clear return from Sharing settings to the entry.

Named journals, sub-journals and journal-level visibility rules are planned. The current Journal entry view is not a complete notebook/container system.

A few Journal questions.

Is Journal the same as My writing?

Journal is the personal-entry view in My Studio. It reuses the writing editor and owned records, while keeping a Journal heading, default entry type and return context. Essays, reports and other writing have their own My writing view.

Do I need SoraTrip to keep a Journal?

No. Personal entries work independently. SoraTrip is a separate planned app; trip links, maps and connected galleries are later additions.

Is translation already available to all users?

No. The restricted owner review pilot shares My writing and Journal foundations. Browser/device support, model availability and resource consent affect on-device translation. Actual language quality, wider access and translated publication remain open acceptance work.

Can I create separate named journals yet?

Named journals, sub-journals, notebook organisation and journal-level privacy ceilings remain planned. The current Journal entry filter is not a complete container system.

One creative space. Familiar ways to work.
